FRIENDS OF THE WEISER RIVER TRAIL

AUGUST 2010:  Overall the trail remains in good shape but heavy rains this spring took their toll.  The worst news is that the Goodrich trestle (seen below a couple of years ago) has become completely unuseable.  A temporary bridge is now in place that will accommodate hikers and bicycles.  Horses can easily ford the creek.

Port-A-Potties can be found in several locations.

WATER REPORT:  We now have potable water at the following locations:

Weiser Trailhead

Presley Trailhead

Midvale (in the park)

Cambridge (at the fairgrounds)

Council (near the kiosk)

Wye Trailhead
