Trestle Sponsorship Information

• 57 trestles, total trestle length 3962.75 feet
• Shortest trestle 14 feet 11 inches
• Longest trestle 212 feet 3 inches
• $225/linear foot to repair/redeck

In late 2024, FWRT started offering sponsorship of trestles.  Anyone sponsoring an entire trestle will be honored by a plaque affixed to the trestle of their choice (if not already sponsored).  All donated funds will be used to redeck/repair the trestles.  Sponsorships are available by the running (linear) foot at $225.

Recognizing that not everyone can afford to sponsor even a 14 foot trestle, we will also be offering a co-sponsor opportunity.  For example, sponsor 10 feet of the trestle of your choice (if available).  A plaque will be placed on the trestle with your name listed as co-sponsor.  Co-sponsorships are available for $1000 and higher.

Donations of under $1000 will go into the general trestle repair fund.   Funds may be sent with a check made out to FWRT, P. O. Box 191100, Boise, ID 83719, with note stating your intent that it be used for the trestle project OR  click the DONATE link below.
